This is probably the quickest way to the Jackaroo hostel. Trains leave the international and domestic terminals of Sydney Airport very regularly and the journey to Kings Cross takes about 30 minutes. The station is located beneath the airport so you can get to the station without even leaving the terminal. Follow the signs that say “Trains” inside the terminal. You will need to buy a ticket before you get on board, and make sure you choose Kings Cross as your destination.

First you will need to take the train from the airport to Central Station. Once you arrive at central station, exit the train and follow the signs to platform 24. Jump back on the train, and go three stops to Kings Cross Station. When you arrive at Kings Cross Station, take the Darlinghurst Road exit. Once you exit the station, turn left and the Jackaroo Hostel is located immediately on the left hand side. One way price is approximately $17*

This is the most economical way to get to the Jackaroo Hostel! From Sydney Airport catch the bus with one of Sydney’s many Airport Shuttle companies. Shuttle services typically run between the hours of 5am and 10pm and you can expect to pay between $14 – $17. Shuttles leave approximately every 20 minutes and depending on traffic you can expect the journey to take between 40 – 60 minutes.
